Challenge
Simplifying property management with a system that tracks tenants, rent payments and maintenance requests in one place.
Property managers often handle multiple properties with different tenants, lease terms and maintenance needs. Rent falls due on different dates, receipts have to be issued for every payment, and repair requests arrive by phone and message and are easily lost. The solution needed to centralise these operations and provide automated reminders and reports, so owners could see how each property is performing without chasing paperwork. It also had to be approachable for owners who manage a handful of units themselves, not only for professional property managers.

Approach
We organised the system in the same hierarchy landlords think in: properties, the units and tenants within them, and the lease that governs each tenancy. Rent schedules come from the lease, so reminders and receipts follow automatically without separate data entry.
Money coming in and money going out sit side by side — rent payments alongside maintenance and other expenses — so the dashboards can show each property's position from real transactions.
Maintenance was treated as part of running a tenancy rather than a separate inbox. Requests are logged in the same system as the lease and payments and tracked until they are closed, so nothing depends on remembering a phone call.
Solution
We built a rent management platform with property listings, tenant profiles, lease management and automated rent reminders. The system tracks payments and generates receipts automatically.
Additional features include maintenance request tracking, expense management and financial reporting. Property owners get a clear view of their portfolio's performance through intuitive dashboards. Everything about a tenancy — who lives there, what is due, what has been paid and what is waiting to be fixed — can be reached from one place.
Key
features
Properties, tenants and leases. Property listings, tenant profiles and lease terms are kept together for every tenancy.
Automated rent reminders. Reminders go out automatically as rent falls due, based on each lease.
Payment tracking and receipts. Rent payments are recorded against the tenancy and receipts are generated automatically.
Maintenance requests. Repair and maintenance requests are logged and tracked until they are resolved.
Expenses and financial reports. Property expenses are recorded alongside income, feeding financial reports and portfolio dashboards.
Results
Tenants, leases, payments and maintenance for every property are managed in one system.
Rent reminders and payment receipts are produced automatically rather than by hand.
Owners can see each property's income and expenses on dashboards built from recorded transactions.
Maintenance requests are logged and followed through to completion instead of living in phone calls and messages.
