Healthcare & pharma

Software for pharma companies, clinics and hospitals: formulation catalogues, clinic management systems and patient apps, with role-based access and audit trails from day one.

Easy for the front desk, strict about records

Healthcare software has to be easy for a busy front desk and strict about who can see a patient's record. We build both into the first version rather than bolting security on before launch.

Our healthcare work includes a multi-clinic management platform with a patient booking app, and a corporate website for a Navi Mumbai pharma company that publishes its full formulation catalogue from structured data.

What we hear from clients

Problems healthcare & pharma teams bring to us most often.

01

Records spread across systems

Registration, appointments, prescriptions, lab reports and billing often live in separate tools, so staff re-enter the same patient details several times a day.

02

Patients who can only phone

Without self-service booking, the front desk spends its day on calls that a patient app could handle, and records are hard for patients to access.

03

Access control and audit

Clinical data needs role-based access and a record of who viewed or changed what. Many off-the-shelf tools make this an afterthought.

04

Catalogues that are hard to maintain

Pharma companies with hundreds of formulations need buyers to find composition, dosage form and pack sizes quickly, and the team to update them without a developer.

What we build

Software we design, build and support for this sector.

01

Hospital and clinic management

Patient registration and medical records, appointments, prescriptions, lab reports and billing in one platform, with a dashboard that runs several clinics.

02

Patient apps

Mobile apps where patients book appointments and view their own records, connected to the same system the clinic uses.

03

Pharma and product catalogues

Websites that publish a full formulation range by dosage form and therapeutic category, generated from structured data so the catalogue stays correct.

04

Integrations and ABDM readiness

Planning for Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission integration (ABHA creation and verification, sharing and fetching records with patient consent), lab and payment integrations.

Rules we build around

General guidance on the regulations that shape software in this sector. It is not legal advice; we agree the specifics with your compliance team.

01

HIPAA (United States)

For US clients we build to the HIPAA Security Rule's technical safeguards: access control, audit logging, integrity checks and encrypted transmission. Your organisation stays responsible for overall compliance and for its agreements with vendors.

02

UK GDPR and EU GDPR

Health data is special category data under GDPR, so it needs a lawful basis, a clear purpose and stronger safeguards. We design consent, access and retention for UK and EU patients accordingly, alongside Australia's privacy requirements for Australian clients.

03

Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India)

The DPDP Rules were notified in November 2025 and phase in over 18 months: consent-manager registration from November 2026, and notice, consent, security safeguards and breach reporting from May 2027. We design consent capture, retention and access logging with those obligations in mind.

04

ABDM certification milestones (India)

ABDM integrations are certified in milestones after testing in the National Health Authority sandbox: M1 for ABHA identity, M2 for sharing records as a Health Information Provider, M3 for fetching them as a Health Information User.

05

Security incident reporting (India)

CERT-In's 2022 directions require specified cyber incidents to be reported within 6 hours of noticing them, so logging and alerting are part of the build.

Healthcare & pharma FAQs

Anything else, ask us directly.

Do you build hospital and clinic management software?

Yes. We have built a multi-clinic management platform covering patient registration, medical records, appointments, prescriptions, lab reports and billing, with a patient booking app. We scope each build around how your clinics actually work.

Can you integrate our software with ABDM?

We plan ABDM integration as part of the build: ABHA creation and verification, and consent-based sharing or fetching of health records. Certification is granted by the National Health Authority after sandbox testing, milestone by milestone.

Do you build healthcare software for clients outside India?

Yes. We work with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia as well as India. For the US we build to the HIPAA Security Rule's technical safeguards; for the UK and EU we design for GDPR. Your organisation stays responsible for overall compliance.

How do you handle patient data security?

Role-based access, audit trails of who viewed or changed a record, encryption in transit and at rest, and retention rules agreed with you. We design around the law that applies to your patients (HIPAA, GDPR or the DPDP Act) and your own requirements; we do not provide legal advice.

Do you work with pharma companies on websites and catalogues?

Yes. We built the corporate website for Aspapure Pharma, which publishes more than 250 formulations by dosage form, composition and pack size from structured data.
