IoT automation
Industrial automation, sensor networks and smart-home platforms with real-time control.
Connect and automate your world with smart device ecosystems. We deliver industrial automation systems, smart home solutions, sensor networks, and IoT platforms that enable real-time monitoring and control across connected environments.
Delivered by the Blackmorph Technology team in Navi Mumbai for clients in India, United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
Focus areas
What we build
Typical iot automation deliverables.
01
Machine and production monitoring
Sensors and controller data feeding a live dashboard of output, uptime and machine condition, as we built for the Sneha Art manufacturing floor.
02
PLC and legacy machine integration
Connecting existing programmable logic controllers and older machinery to software, so gaining visibility does not mean replacing equipment that still works.
03
Predictive maintenance alerts
Trend rules on temperature, vibration or current draw that warn maintenance staff before a component fails, instead of after the line stops.
04
Smart home automation
Lighting scenes, climate control, cameras and smart locks run from a custom mobile app and voice assistants, as in our smart home projects for private clients.
05
Energy monitoring and scheduling
Per-circuit or per-machine metering with schedules that switch loads off when nobody needs them, and reports that show where power actually goes.
How an engagement runs
From the first conversation to support after launch.
Step 01
Site survey
We walk the factory floor or the home, list machines, controllers, network coverage and power points, and find out what data is already available before recommending hardware.
Step 02
Pilot on one line or room
One machine, line or room is instrumented first, proving that the readings are reliable and the alerts useful before money is spent on scale.
Step 03
Hardware, firmware and cloud
Sensors and gateways are selected, firmware written, and devices publish over MQTT to a cloud backend that stores history and evaluates rules.
Step 04
Dashboards, apps and rollout
Web dashboards, alerts and mobile controls are built, the installation extends to the remaining sites, and operators are trained on the system.
Step 05
Ongoing support
Remote firmware updates, device health monitoring and new sensors as your needs grow.
IoT automation case studies
Delivered client projects that used this service.
Industrial IoT automation for Sneha Art: sensors, PLC control and a real-time dashboard for machine monitoring, automated quality checks and maintenance.
Custom smart home automation for private clients: lighting scenes, climate control, cameras and smart locks, run from one mobile app and voice assistants.

Why Blackmorph
IoT is a service line where we can point to both industrial and residential work: the Sneha Art automation project and smart home installations for private clients. Our team works across the whole chain of devices, messaging, cloud and the apps people actually use, and being based in Vashi makes on-site surveys and installation visits across Mumbai and Maharashtra practical.

IoT automation FAQs
Questions we are asked most often before a project starts. Anything else, ask us directly.
What does an IoT automation project cost?
Cost follows the number of devices, whether you are retrofitting existing machines or specifying new ones, the connectivity available on site (Wi-Fi, Ethernet or cellular), the dashboards and apps required, and cloud hosting and data retention. A single-line pilot keeps the first commitment small.
Can IoT work with our older machines?
Usually, yes. Many machines already expose data through their PLC; where they do not, external sensors such as current clamps, temperature probes or vibration sensors can be added without modifying the machine itself.
What happens if the internet connection drops?
Gateways on site buffer readings and keep running local rules, so control and alarms continue during an outage. The buffered data syncs to the cloud once the connection returns.
How are connected devices kept secure?
Each device gets its own credentials, traffic is encrypted with TLS, devices sit on a separate network segment from office computers, default passwords are removed, and firmware updates are signed so only approved code runs on them.
How soon will we see useful data?
Readings start arriving as soon as the pilot hardware is installed and connected. Patterns that support decisions, such as recurring downtime causes, need a few weeks of history to become clear.
