Challenge

Bringing inventory, billing, quotations and customer records into one system for a trophy workshop whose products come in many sizes and price points.

SM Sports And Trophy House makes custom trophies, medals and acrylic awards at its workshop in Kapurhol, Pune District, and supplies schools, corporate teams and event organisers. Its catalogue spans metal, plastic and acrylic ranges identified by item number, and many designs are sold in several sizes, each at its own rate. The shop needed one system to manage that catalogue, track stock, process sales and keep customer records — simple enough for staff to use with minimal training.

Approach

We modelled the data around how the shop actually sells: every item has an item number and can carry a separate rate for each size, and the forms validate these before anything is saved. On top of that we built a module for each part of the working day — point of sale, billing, quotations, inventory, categories, customers, suppliers, reports and analytics — behind a single sign-in.

Access is enforced before a page renders: every business route redirects signed-out visitors to the login screen and returns them to where they were heading after sign-in, and password recovery is built in. The app ships a web manifest, so it can be installed to a phone or desktop home screen and opens in its own window like a native app.

Solution

We created a custom web application with modules for inventory management, point-of-sale transactions, quotation generation and customer relationship management — all integrated into a single dashboard, alongside supplier records, product categories, user accounts and settings.

The system includes real-time inventory tracking, automated low-stock alerts, sales analytics and report generation to help the business make data-driven decisions. It is built with the Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components, with Supabase providing the Postgres database and authentication, and is deployed on Vercel.

Key
features

Point of sale and billing. A dedicated POS screen and billing module record counter sales and produce bills from the same product data used everywhere else.

Quotations. Staff prepare quotations for bulk and event orders from the live catalogue, with a separate quotations module for tracking them.

Size-wise item rates. Each item number can hold a different rate for every size, and an item can't be saved until each size has a rate.

Inventory, categories and suppliers. Stock is organised by category and linked to supplier records, with low-stock alerts to flag items that need reordering.

Reports and analytics. Dedicated sales, reports and analytics pages summarise how the business is doing.

Protected, installable app. User accounts, sign-in with password recovery and a web app manifest let staff install the app and use it from any device.

Results

Inventory, billing, quotations and customer records are handled in one signed-in dashboard.

Size-specific pricing is enforced by the app itself, so items can't be saved with a size left unpriced.

The app installs on phones and desktops like a native application, so staff can use it at the counter or in the workshop.

Every business page sits behind authentication, and staff can reset their own passwords without developer help.

Client's
feedback

Blackmorph built a shop management system that changed how we run our daily operations. Inventory, billing, and customer records now live in one dashboard our staff learned in days. We highly recommend their services.
